Create your SCRUM project

DoneTonic allows you to create projects choosing between two types of agile methodologies: Kanban and SCRUM. Select SCRUM in the dropdown if your project is going to be time bound and there will be certain roles such as Product Owner or Scrum Master. DoneTonic will create the backlog to start adding the PBIs.

Add PBI to Backlog

During the sprint planning, the PBIs that will be added to the backlog to achieve the sprint goal are defined. Within those PBIs, the development team defines which tasks should be developed to achieve the incremental value in the product during that sprint.

Define user capacity

Controlling the time spent on tasks is essential to achieve the sprint goals on time. With DoneTonic’s SCRUM software you will be able to define the time of each PBI, which will be the result of the sum of the time allocated to the tasks that make it up. You will also be able to add the time that each user must dedicate to the development of that task within the PBI.

Generate the sprint

DoneTonic’s SCRUM software allows you to create the sprint in a simple way, defining the start and end dates and the date of the next release. Finally, all that remains is to change the status of the PBIs to READY to drag them and add them to the sprint.

Consult the SCRUM board

For the duration of the time defined in the sprint, the members of the development team will have to manage the PBI tasks in the SCRUM board that is generated when the sprint is created. These tasks will progress through the different statuses as development progresses. An online board allows any member of the development team to access the board and add comments, files or change the status of tasks from anywhere.

Plan the release

When a SCRUM project is generated from DoneTonic’s software, the release tab is automatically created. Everything is set up so that when the sprint is closed, the next release is created, where the closed PBIs will be added, and which will be the sprint goal defined during the sprint planning.
